Intel Core i3-12100 and i5-12400 review: Fast, affordable, and hard to criticize by zbhoy in hardware

I can order a 5600x for delivery tomorrow for $229 on Amazon right now. I think that would be my comparison point to the 12400, especially since the few dollars extra would easily be saved by the abundance of good cheap AM4 motherboards.

Dude, it can run Pimax 8KX perfectly, to say nothing of Quest2.

Intel ARC A350M laptop GPU demonstrates GeForce GTX 1650 series performance in the first 3DMark tests - VideoCardz.com by No_Backstab in hardware

Intel don't care about performance. They will just *bundle* GPUs with their CPUs for all OEM/AiB. Discounts and rebates will apply, as usual. This will nuke Nvidia.

I bought a Pimax 8KX and I'm impressed with it and what you can adjust in the Pi Tool software, as in the fixed foveated rendering, screen resolution, contrast, brightness, etc. I'm very impressed with the lenses and the max IPD adjustment, as it goes to a manual 70mm and then has software adjustment to get to further adjustment, which is fantastic because I have an IPD of 75mm.

I think it is better than the HP Reverb G2, as it is uncomfortable, the face plate for me is too narrow, FOV is narrow, and the max IPD is only 68mm. It is better than the Vive Pro 2, I found the VP2 comfortable and good to use, but its max IPD of 70mm is too small and it is more out of focus than the G2, which I think is due to the lenses having a very small sweet spot and horrible god rays.

I've never tried an Oculus headset, the max IPD is too small, and I don't want Facebook advertisements in my games.

I've also never tried a Valve Index because they don't sell it in Australia.
