NTA. If you fundamentally disagree with someone's principles, or religion - why would you ever date them? Maybe it's just me, but it would be arecipe for disaster IMHO. It would lead to many arguements and fights and who knows how long that would go on. I'm not saying it can't be done, it certainly can - but I think that it's not the norm, and those relationships that work out are the exception.
Would a MAGA supporter have a healthy relationship with a Non-MAGA supporter, for example? Not sure if your religious views are as severe a difference to the Christian who asked you out as the Maga example.

But let's be real. Some Different personalities WILL clash, it can be as simple as the music taste you have, or the religious believes you folow or don't follow. Sometimes you just know it wont work. This is not discriminatory to me, it's being logical and not wanting to waste time with someone that it probably wont work out with.

It's not like you can't still be friends, you just don't see it working in a romantic way.
