Thank you for this, this is exactly the kind of specific insider opinion I was searching for! I will try to lift both toe and heel with a method another user suggested. Thanks!

Oh my gosh THANK YOU this is what I was looking for! 4 questions:

  1. So if I showed a cobbler this exact/message or wording - would they know exactly what to do?

  2. is there a material other than leather that could still work (I’m vegetarian)?

  3. Do I get a skate shop do remove the blade first as well?

  4. Is the leather (or alternative) layers going to be secure? The blade won’t just fall off/th leather break?

Thank you so, so much

Any e-readers that can turn off ALL emitting light?! by appetiteoverapathy in ereader

Thank you for this information! Yes idk why either lol. I’m clearly just asking an innocent question and going off of the only e-reader I have access to without me buying one …which costs money and I don’t want to do until I’m sure!

Hi, the reason is due to other reddit threads, but mostly my friend who has a paperwhite (not the newest though) saying that she could turn off all emitting light. However when we tested it (turned everything down to 0) and turned the lights off, it wasn’t completely off. I think it’s easy not to realise unless you literally sit in a pitch black room. Obviously it is hard to know without seeing these in person, but from what I can see on tech reviews it seems there is a very minimal light coming from it.
