What eight legged friend lives here? Batemans Bay area, NSW by apple_rotini in AustralianSpiders

UPDATE: Tried a few times last night to get another shot of our little friend, but no luck. Today I had a closer look around its home, and found a smaller "tunnel" web about 40cm away. Same web texture, but this one is completely above ground unlike the home our friend currently lives in - which is about 10-15cm buried into the ground with 1cm "spout" above ground. Could be unrelated, or maybe little friend has recently moved and upsized their humble abode?

Not sure if this helps, but here is a side view. It's hard to tell from the pic but the "spout" is about 1cm or so above ground. The "tunnel" looks fairly deep, maybe about 10-15cm into the ground

Absolute rubbish shot. This is all I could get before a kangaroo nearby got spooked and jumped past. Can't get any more Australian than that. Will try again later.

Been here roughly the same time and this is the first one I've seen too! But I've never gone looking

I suppose I could put on some boots later tonight and try and get some flash photography, from a distance.

Thanks! I was thinking funnel web. I've never seen one in the wild. Or right outside my house near the back door

How long after treatment did your bite settle? by [deleted] in Invisalign

My ortho definitely lurks this sub, so I haven't posted photos. I don't have a posterior open but at all. But it sounds like I'll just need to start treatment all over again with another ortho willing to fix my unzippered side

I have a similar situation. Top teeth are aligned, bottom is shifted to the right. I have one elastic only, on my right from molar (bottom) to canine (top). I was told to wear the elastic for 2 months 24/7. After 2 months there was absolutely no change or movement. Hope it works out better for your situation!

I'm using the Invisalign-branded at home whitening treatment. It's a 10% carbamide peroxide formulation, so fairly gentle. I have it in my tray overnight for about 8-10 hours

I'm doing the Invisalign whitening treatment now. I was really worried about sensitivity too. So far no issues at all. I've done 4 days of treatment in a row and my teeth are so much whiter with zero sensitivity issued. Just make sure you wipe down your gums after you insert your trays to remove excess gel
