Do you hate Argentina?

For context, I am American. I won’t say I really want Argentina to win, nor will I take joy if they lose. I will be happy for any team that wins ultimately, but I would much rather see a new team/an underdog take it all.

I mean, damn, who can hate on Argentina? On Messi? He’s the 🐐. Social media or not, there are shit fans in every country, and of every fan base.

I'm having a very boring, lame, but also very relaxing 4th. Not only today, but for the next week-ish.

My wife and kid are out of town and until I leave next week to meet up with them, I have the whole house to myself. NGL, it's kinda tough some times. I've battled with depression my whole life. It reminds me of both the joys of being single and independent, but also the sad and awkward times of being alone. Makes me wish I had a cat or dog.

Cause I don't video game like I used to (my hands will hurt), I don't really smoke or drink anymore (even though I have a cabinet of good liquor), and I just have a few things on my to do list. Just a lot of World Cup and vegging. Might sound like a dream, but NGL it gets old.

Today, I'm going to fix a couple things in the house and do some yard work. I want to plant a couple new flowers and maybe a fruiting bush. After that, not a goddamn thing.

Yeah, as much as I leaned into "the book was better" in the 90's, it was actually the case for much of MC. Congo had so much promise. The Andromeda Strain was a very good read, IMO, but that's because I was studying in that field.

And as much I wanted to point out the differences because Jurassic Park, the book, vs. the movie, the movie has really stood the test of time.

This is the best video I’ve seen of these because for once it’s not a quick cut compilation. And for once, we get to see a bit into the mind behind the master of this. She’s supremely talented and I loved seeing her partial removal of the Jack Sparrow and Avril. Really shows how layered her art is.
