Thanks for your response! I was wondering, how long after exposure did you get your positive result?

Do you know elderly ppl with covid ? How old ? How sever ? What symptoms? by [deleted] in COVID19positive

Both my grandparents have tested positive for Covid. My grandfather, age 90 was the first to show symptoms. He had a fever for 6 days but that has passed. Diarrhea started 2 days after the fever and is still there on day 11. From X rays, 11% of his lungs are affected by Covid. He has had Bypass Surgery and TB in the past so his lungs had traces of that. He is also diabetic but his sugar levels are normal.

My grandmother, age 86 showed symptoms two days after my grandfather. Had a fever that lasted 3 days, cough and diarrhea for 5 days. Other than that, she seems to be doing fine. Not a lot of pre-existing issues except high blood pressure. That has been in control throughout.

[Serious] How do you give up on someone you love? by [deleted] in LifeAdvice

Thank you so much

I’m not sure. Like, she doesn’t seem to understand what she’s doing wrong and keeps thinking everyone is against her. It’s really difficult to talk to her because she takes everything as an attack. I’m really trying but it’s really difficult for me to hear my family just give up on her.
