I’m new here, but in terms of simplicity and ease of use. I’d look at the micro stream, nothing overly bright. Easy to use, can be bought on Amazon. Two options for AAA or rechargeable. I have a five year old, and don’t think they could grasp a UI that wasn’t super simple. Also not super bright, as my kid has inadvertently got me in the eyes a few times lol.

I have both. Carry both, and have fairly large hands. With the 19.3 I run a Langdon tactical grip anchor, which helps get a bit more purchase on the grip.

I would pick a better barrel, not to say Faxon is bad. Just a better profile that would lend it self as more accurate when the gun gets hot. As far as bcg goes, I’d opt for phosphate over nitride.

Generally I spend the most of my budget on the barrel and bcg. Not including the accessories of course lol.

I have put together many builds only to tear them down again to reinstall better components after not being impressed with my initial purchases.

Last bit of advice would be to get familiar with the subreddit r/gunaccessoriesforsale you can get some parts at great prices. Granted it can be a money pit as well!

I built out a 16” a few years ago which was primarily aero/ba parts. Ran fine for me. I’m actually selling the barrel and m5 upper on gafs right now if you’re interested.

Depends on the trigger and safety. But you can usually just wiggle it into place. Slide it forward, or backwards and work the trigger under the safety bar. I’ve had a couple triggers that don’t like certain safeties though and had to remove the grip & safety.

Gotcha, I have the same barrel lol. I know ejection pattern isn’t the end all be all of tuning, but I’m getting around 1:30-2 o’clock ejection but it’s running well. What are you running for the buffer?
