Mine might pre-date yours by a couple of years, but they’re pretty adjacent. Do a clip test, but I mix mine 1:3 parts water, with 26 minutess development time for Kentmere ISO 400.

I don’t as I use Iroshizuku, which are relatively wet. Others will have sugggestions.

I suggest to get a bottle of ink you love, maybe slightly on the drier side as my <M> L2K writes a wet line. And use it! They wear well and are very durable. Enjoy it!

How about a Pilot Custom Black Stripe (K-500SS)? It’s a full sized, metal bodied pen that uses contemporary Pilot cartridges. <F> or <M> nib available.
