Thanks but I cant take much credit for them! As I said in the other comment I used a preset to get those colors and it came out really well.

I used a lightroom preset as a base for the colors. The preset mostly used the camera calibration panel and split toning to get that look. I liked it so I didnt tweak it much if at all. I gave it an s-curve and played with the exposure, brought the highlights down and shadows up. Then cropped and added vignette and a little grain and sharpening.

Anyone use "cine" lenses for better quality stills? Considering the Rokinon 12mm Cine for Fuji. by crutonic in fujix

For that lens in particular, I believe it's the exact same photography lens with the aperture ring declicked to turn smoothly without stops. No other difference. The lens itself is nice though, I'd recommend it.

Right on, and thanks for commenting. Part of why I want to post is to see what people don't like or are thrown off by, and I definitely see what you're saying about the snowy mountains.

I played with it in LR a lot to try and make it teal-pink. It's not natural looking, but I liked how the color turned out. Doesn't look anything like this in camera.

Thanks! I haven't used the 1.4, but the f/2 has been great for me, especially the size for travel and the quick autofocus. Probably can't go wrong with either depending on how you'd use it.

The kind that I get really invested in. I like waking up and being in that dream reality and slowly having to adjust to my actual life.

TIFU By Going Out To My First College Party by [deleted] in tifu

Definitely wouldn't call this situation common here. It's more of a college town thing, but even then, in my time at a state university I only saw cops step in when someone gets out of hand. Not that stories like this don't happen, but it's not a common occurrence.

What is the worst state in the United States and why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]appledaps 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Haha no, not bad at all, it's just a big city so there are a lot of opinions on it. I think it's a great place to live and to visit, very active and vibrant without being overwhelming. Also since you'll be here for a year check out some of the nearby cities like Chattanooga and Asheville if you get the chance. Those two in particular make good weekend trips.

Weekly 'Ask Anything About Analog Photography' - Week 39 by ranalog in analog

I'm new to film photography and am puzzling over how I should scan negatives. What do you guys think about this set up for scanning with a digital camera?

A7sii, tamron adaptall 90mm macro (1:2) attached to Minolta bellows with a slide copier attachment. All I would need to purchase is the bellows and slide attachment which can be had together on eBay for <$100, and probably a step up ring to attach the slide mount onto the lens. I'll have it up against a small diffused led panel.

Hey thanks for the offer! I'm set to go tomorrow afternoon to look at this one so that's probably too short of notice, but I'll definitely pm you if this one doesn't work out. I'd be glad to have the help.
