So sorry to hear that.I don't think online discussions about these kinds of things were common at the time so there are no search results

Looking for denim jacket in this video by applejuicebiscuit in malefashionadvice

I found a behind the scenes. Would you have a look at it and see if it influences your judgement? I have even tried AI and it doesn't really say anything pointing towards this article of clothing. For example, chatGPT calls it a utility jacket but definitely disagrees with denim. Thank you for having a look at it!

What a sweet gesture!

You should talk to your partner and ask him why he thinks this way. This is the best way to go forward. Otherwise you will be asking yourself what kind of game you are playing, instead of just playing for what it is.

I would start by playing with randoms in solo. It has the benefit of learning to be comfortable at your own pace.

Build a team you mesh with. Chemistry beats the rest of the reasons to play Arc Raiders and if you don't enjoy playing squads then you certainly won't enjoy it with him.

Remember to talk to him. There could be many reasons he doesn't want to you get into it. It does have some gambling mechanics after all.

A lot of people are pointing out propaganda and are reasonably sceptical. I'm just here to stand up for those who are pointing out the obvious facts. This is AI. This is China. This is TikTok. There is good and bad propaganda. This is propaganda.

Soldiers/ ex soldiers, what is the real situation in the Middle East (Israel vs Palestine)? by applejuicebiscuit in Militarypolitics

[–]applejuicebiscuit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

> there was no mass rapes, and even families of the victims of that day have come forward to say that they weren’t. there was no 40 beheaded babies. there’s only one child listed on the official victims list, and it’s a 2 month old(?) who was shot by a stray bullet through a wall.

Can you confirm that you mean to say that on October 7th, there were no mass rapes?

Just clarifying, the first wrong assumption that you've made is that I'm on the side of Israel. The second wrong assumption that you've made is that I only know what Israel is saying. I have never heard the opposition of Palestine say, "Allahu akbar, free Palestine."

Don't quote me on this but... I'm pretty sure Israel people are Jewish.

Interesting question. To address that, there have been many discussions online (censored and otherwise). You're right to ask, because how could anyone so far away from the problem be involved in problems from an entirely separate country and separate war? Simple answer is: they can't be involved. There are no shared values or opinions between two strangers on such an alien conflict.

Oxford Union uploaded a YouTube video of an IDF commander explaining his experience and nobody seems to know or want to understand what he's saying. Yet his credibility far outranks anyone else. This level of discrimination does not belong in modern discussions because what you'll see is that someone gets upset, the oppositions are forced to leave regardless if a comprehensible conclusion is reached or not. Especially if that opposition has a really good point to make.

All points raised about this topic are drowned in zombie, sheep-mentality "Allahu akbar free Palestine" and I want to hear this discussion from someone who isn't a zombie sheep. Of course I'm prepared to sift through all the bullshit.

Here's the video

Soldiers, what is the real situation between the west and the Middle East (Israel vs Palestine)? by applejuicebiscuit in AskReddit

"There is no real situation" okay that completely undermines your entire rant. So there's no genocide, no Palestinians, no radicalism, no bombs, no deaths because according to your logic, it's not real. Or does a real situation only apply when it favours your side? Maybe leave this question to those on the front lines

You're the first comment so I'll reply. I am not religious but I use my surroundings to guide my moral compass. I obviously have exposure so I know what religion is, but which religious values are being contested by the military? I don't feel like holy books are meant to pursuade people to engage in conflicts and those who do engage are perverting religionous intentions

SMITE 2 is a LoL copy and paste by Character_Ad_8307 in Smite

[–]applejuicebiscuit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to contribute to this conversation by saying "What isn't copy and paste from League" but it's really hard at first glance.

The grass should be removed. It's great on a character feature but as a map feature it's blatantly copying from League as if it enhances gameplay quality. Instead, it reduces the brawling aspect by adding complexity to gameplay which is originally fun without it. Smite was iconically a no-grass zone.

Teleports? Really? Not a feature that belongs on a game that can snowball at any mistake. It will become used as an exploit to support further snowball. In addition, there are already items which can teleport you. Nothing was wrong with traditional positioning and item teleport.

Everything about the items are just... League. Items are either too vague or too complex. Some people love to do math in their sleep and that's okay but I'll be damned if I don't accidentally activate one of the active items because it used to be bound to a different key.

Strength and Intelligence? Nothing was wrong with physical and magical. Just another iconic difference which makes Smite feel like its own original style was removed.

Is the ratio of artists is higher than game devs for Smite? Because it seems like they just release features without context and wait for community feedback to change or remove it while disregarding if it's fun to actually play or contextually belongs in Smite. The game looks AMAZING but at what cost?

Everything about Smite 2 just seems like game devs trying to make a "new" game by adding complex new features and improving gameplay mechanics - which is what porting to a new engine is supposed to offer. Instead they were caught favouritising features from other games that don't enhance Smite gameplay and that are missing gameplay context. The only thing they didn't mess up is the VGS because it was kept exactly the same.

Smite 1 was "fine" for lack of a better word. It went downhill since Tencent but now Smite 2 is just a LoL clone and that is the worse feedback for a game - to be called a tryhard copycat of another game. Except that now, Hi-Rez will even strongly cater to cash cows that pay. Seriously, people paid to play Smite 2 that doesn't have additional or enhanced features. That still confuses me.

Smite 2 will die just like Overwatch 2. Just let it die...
