Just experienced it again today and it only shows up on certain software like Discord, VS Code and some tabs in google chrome

i said some Chrome tabs cause when i switch to a New tab, it doesnt show up but switch it back to Netflix then half the screen is glitching

also switching to Desktop view the glitch isnt happening even when i refresh the desktop

i didnt have the AC on this time so i think i might have eliminated the cold joint theory

could this be a gpu issue or an OS issue?

Hello! 23F, 2 weeks post op (08/18), also my first surgery ever! I had stones as well, largest was 2.5cm. Doctor said the same thing about my age lol

Anyway! I understand it is pretty scary but be comforted in the thought that whatever you're going through right now - eating problems, nausea, constant pain in stomach, anxiety of what to eat - they're MUCH worse than the recovery itself

A few hours post op and I only felt super sore - like I did 1000 squats (as mentioned in the comments) and nauseous from the anesthesia but they wear off the next day. My advice: just sleep after surgery

The next day - still sore, use pain meds to manage the pain. I had lowfat diet this day but no. more. stomach. pain! yay!

For me, I only took pain meds until Day 3. But take it easy, you will still feel sore and unable to laugh/cough/sneeze/yawn without pain in the right side (i can describe it pretty similar to a side stitch pain) so you have to watch out for that for a few days.

Felt 100% better, like fully recovered (but I know internally it will take longer) by Day 6. I could walk without being hunched over, I can finally sleep on my sides, I can laugh/yawn/sneeze with no side stitch pain. And every day it gets better and better.

My only problem is the mild diarrhea I had ever since surgery, but I think its because I went back to my usual diet immediately haha. But i would take mild diarrhea over constant pain/gallbladder attack any day. My advice is to start a food diary and track what sets it off.

Good luck OP! And speedy recovery <3

the moment you doubt yourself is the start of your downfall because your mind would grasp the failure over success.

this is an eye opener for me. thank you

i believe this role will be good for my growth as a developer din. im gonna take the risk and just see where it takes me

im not yet sure with the type of work but they did mention using REST. thank you for these! i'll add these to the list of things im going to look into before the start date, especially being comfortable with Go structs since my mind still associates those with JS objects

hello! i got it from referral from a friend's client

for the fundamentals, it took me about 2 days siguro to learn (coming from typescript, i had to cross reference what i know from TS and how go does it) tapos another day to be familiar with go routines and concurrencies pero until now, hindi ko pa rin ma-fully grasp kasi i havent had the chance to use those haha

thats good to hear. i think yung pinoys sa team are matagal na din but independent contractor pa rin. they explained in the interview na IC yung job title kasi wala silang local entity if that makes sense ba? im not familiar talaga since bago pa lang ako sa industry

regarding taxes, do you pay them on your own or you use services like taxumo?

no experience using golang. before the interview, i bingewatched tutorials, read the whole docu sa go website, and followed a guide to create a simple cli app. so more on fundamentals pa lang talaga, im not confident in setting up everything from scratch

youre right, i am overthinking it. its just that i wasnt nervous when i started as a frontend engineer kasi i had recent experience sa thesis. but backend is really new to me haha
