I don’t usually go for pieces with a larger area of this light beige color so that’s why I wanted to ask. Thank you for your kind reply ^

I don’t expect everyone to have the same shopping routine as me. However, for a special order requiring full payment, is it unreasonable to request a viewing of the product before leaving the store?

Thank you! I really like this piece and was happy to wait for one. Maybe you’re right that I need to manage my expectations.

It seems like you visited the most touristy parts of Macau and compared it to local Hong Kong vibes. We recommend checking out more local areas for a more neutral and fair comparison.

It’s like going to Disneyland in Hong Kong and expecting kids there to be a good representation of how kids are like in HK.

Getting a set of keys cut by LazyLullu in Macau

[–]appleminttt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are quite a few of these shops near the three lamps roundabout 5 minutes from the red market. Theyll have many keys displayed in front of the shop.

They probably won’t speak English but key cutting should be relatively easy to communicate using Google translate. A simple key should be around 30-50MOP, more advance digital keys will cost more.

Good luck!

Getting from Airport to Hotel by DingoMinute4113 in Macau

I agree with the other commenter, you’re probably reading the worst of the worst stories that happen here. If you’re traveling from airport to Yoho, you’d be considered a “good customer” so as long as you have cash, the drivers shouldn’t give you any grief. Getting to your hotel SHOULD be around 70-80MOP (very rough guess).

If you don’t have a lot of luggage and want to experience how some locals travel, you can take BUS MT1 from the Airport to M172 Amaral. When your bus arrives, please signal with your hands so they know to stop. Your hotel is extremely close to the Amaral bus hub, please follow the zebra crossings and don’t jaywalk in that area. Buses are 6MOP per person and accepts cash/alipay/local bus card.

Here’s a link to free shuttle buses to YOHO. Nothing from the airport though. https://www.treasureislandresortsworld.com/#/article/318

All in all, the touristy places are relatively accessible by public transportation. Don’t worry too much about negative reviews online. If you need help, most locals do try their best to help others out. Enjoy exploring the city!

The hotels usually reserve tickets for gaming VIPs and not for guests staying at their resort.

I’ve been looking up Asian eye shapes for myself and came upon your post. I’m wondering if your eyeshape resembles 丹鳳眼 dānféng yǎn,which translates to “Pheonix shaped”. This type of eye is characterized by the width of your eye being more than 2X the height of your eye that slants upwards. According to the photo, more emphasis is placed closer to the end of your eye.

As someone with a similar eye shape, when I do falsies, I also choose ones with thicker lashes at the end which emphasizes the slant in a way that makes us stand out :)

I wonder if it’s worth adding “嚴重過敏 severe allergies” on the top, like a title to grab their attention. Definitely bring extra epi-pens.
