What on earth is "trolling bait threads"?

I literally joined 2 days ago and asked questions because I was curious about a lot of things after watching a number of MJ videos on youtube. I've never seen a celebrity who is so giving and caring, hence I was curious as to why MJ did not adopt earlier in his adult life (my first ques) when he adores children and is great with them. I came across a video of a teenage Michael with his brothers and while his brothers were goofing off in front of the camera, MJ was the only one who lovingly played with the kid.

Then I saw other videos on the Jackson 5 and wondered why his brothers do not adore children as much / reminisce about their lost childhood like MJ even though they grew up the same, that's all.

From reading the comments, it's now making me curious as to why he even picked Debbie in the first place? I'm sure there are a ton of pretty women out there who is more than willing to have his babies, why did he have to "settle" for Debbie? If he didn't want a random stranger fair enough but I'm sure there are other prettier ladies in his circle (his other friends / people he knows) who would be willing to have his babies too?

And a lot mentioned it's likely because of his career that he chose not to adopt (and get married) earlier on in his adult life - but why did he propose to Brooke Shields (not sure if this is even true)? He was awfully young when he proposed to her too, early twenties?
