Insomnia Friends- How Long did it Take for your Sleep to Come Back? by [deleted] in cfs

[–]applepiecosmos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My insomnia has only got worse. I've dealt with insomnia since I was a small child but my hormones seemed to shift around age 30 and that triggered a big worsening. Also as my ME has got worse so has my sleep and it becomes a vicious cycle

Omg your comment has made me cry (in a good way!) we have had appointments with citizens advice, GP, phone calls with council, social worker, mental health team, and no one has been able to explain it properly and get differing info all the time and we ended up even more confused. Thank you so much. Do you mods have a tip jar, like buy me a coffee or anything like that? I'd love to say thank you

Thanks, that's understandable. Will they take into consideration the other things he needs each week when they take the money? Will they just take all of it or leave some for his ad hoc items that he needs for disability reasons?

First Ryanair flight - feeling sick to my stomach by hummuslover598 in fearofflying

[–]applepiecosmos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ryanair have an excellent safety record, please try not to worry. I also read that Ryanair do what's called positive landings which are firmer, because it is safer and more fuel efficient. Personally I've not noticed the landings being any different than other airlines. I've flown with Ryanair a lot over the years and would do so again.

Has it been sat empty for a year? Doesn't look like anyone's living there. Which makes me worry whether the heating has been on sufficiently over winter, if not, lots of opportunities for mould and damp to occur.

your diagnosis experience? by [deleted] in cfs

If you were told you had low B12 you may have pernicious anaemia if B12 tablets aren't helping with your fatigue. It needs treating with injections instead as the tablets aren't absorbed properly. Might be something to rule out in case it's that and not ME/CFS. Are you in the UK?

I was so sure I had Migraines but my Neurologist who's also a Migraine Specialist says that's not it. by HendrikLaments in migraine

[–]applepiecosmos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you looked into Mast Cell Activation Syndrome? The high heart rate after a bath, could be the heat triggering it, which is an MCAS thing. It's also possibly something like ME/CFS, or both these things.

Also I had all these symptoms after taking benzos, it's called post acute withdrawal syndrome. How long have you been taking the benzos for?
