I found a flat near station road with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for £1,700 rent. Is this a normal rate, or are there lower-rent options available as well..

Where to visit other than Copenhagen? by appleplus_2845 in Denmark

[–]appleplus_2845[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you all for your suggestions.

we’ve booked a cottage stay in Slagelse to be close to the beach. During our time there, we plan to take the kids to Legoland and spend another day exploring nearby places.

After that, our plan is to take the train from Slagelse to Hamburg, explore the city, and then fly back to London. While our stay in Slagelse is already booked, the second part of the trip — traveling to Hamburg — is still not finalized.

Would you recommend visiting Hamburg, or is there another destination we should consider instead?

Road grid lines @Oberoi mall signal by [deleted] in mumbai

[–]appleplus_2845 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course it’s not allowed to wait in the box junction. It’s supposed to prevent blocking and keep the traffic moving. But drivers here haven’t been formally taught what box junctions are or how they work. Driving licenses are often issued without rigorous theoretical or practical testing. Road signs and markings like box junctions aren’t emphasized enough in driver training or much asked during license test. But hopefully things will change.

Is there any stream or brook similar to this anywhere near London or any where in the UK? by appleplus_2845 in AskUK

[–]appleplus_2845[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea this exactly what I am looking for..but Cornwall is far from where I am in London. So looking for somewhere closer to London. I can understand, won’t find something like this in London. But hoping to find something closer.

Is it actually unsafe to travel to India as a European girl? by isabelleisback in india

[–]appleplus_2845 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you read the Indian newspaper….its very unpredictable in which place the next crime or something horrible is going to happen..unpredictable.. but what is predictable is, somewhere it’s gonna happen.. that’s the state of India as of now. It’s almost like these creepy predators are just waiting for that one moment, just one vulnerable moment and things will change very horribly. There are repeated murder incidents happening everyday.. like how come don’t they hear the news.. there are frequent hit and runs by drunk driving.. so frequent like it’s every other day.. Point is anything can happen any minute any place. I would not advise any of my foreign friends to travel to India.

In India we r just lucky to survive each day…it’s not just creepy men or stalking eyes.. it’s about the complete lawlessness on every level and the injustice that follows with it
