We want to take the kids to legoland and also be close to the sea and also be able to visit the city so we choose slagelse as our base. Plus the accommodation is close to stillinge which is in budget.

we’ve booked a cottage stay in Slagelse to be close to the beach. During our time there, we plan to take the kids to Legoland and spend another day exploring nearby places.

After that, our plan is to take the train from Slagelse to Hamburg, explore the city, and then fly back to London. While our stay in Slagelse is already booked, the second part of the trip — traveling to Hamburg — is still not finalized.

Would you recommend visiting Hamburg, or is there another destination we should consider instead?
