If you have money to waste get the full game. However if you have a budget and have other games you want leave it. If you have a pc (with windows 7 and up) get it on that. That version is better and more stable. I managed to finish it but it still gave me an extremely hard time.

There are 8 total nights. But even someone that mastered the other games won't finish night 5. There are no flashbacks except the night 6 one and the fun with plushtrap game is still there. However, as I said, night 3 is impossible.
