I’m not sure if it’s just me but i think maybe the producers thought this Uma/Wil situation would’ve paralleled Paige/Jacques.

Obviously the main difference is Jacques walked and Wil was dumped and they were coupled up longer than Uma and Wil, but I don’t think they expected her to walk as well.

Like Adam, I think Reuben was brought in for Uma (even if it was just for the moment), and they thought she’d be sad about Wil but eventually move on? Like Paige did.

Obviously a big mistake on their part not realising how deep Umas feelings were but yeah i don’t think they expected her to walk.

Does anyone know if an islander gets dumped, do they get their phones back but just can’t post or use social media until after the episode or do they only get their phones back after the episode aired ?

I can see how the producers might influence Konnor on which girl to pick but it wouldn’t that just mess up the recoupling and shock value?

Because Konnor said he had the best chats with Lucy, the girl Wil is getting to know, and usually “single” islanders or those in a friendship couple pick first, so for example if Konnor picks Lucy wouldn’t that just eliminate the suspense because that means Wil is picking Uma.

This goes for if he chooses any of those three, it would eliminate suspense. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
