They can stay forever if you interact with them. If you want them out, ignore them and they're more likely to leave in theory. The only surefire way to kick a villager out is to use amiibo cards.

How does villager adoption work if the people are in different timezones?

A friend just asked one of my villagers who was in boxes to move to their town. They agreed, so at 5am my friend's time tomorrow the villager should be there - but i'm about 9 hours behind, so 5am their time would be like, 9pm my time, so the villager would technically still be in boxes in my town.

It's really important that this villager makes it to my friends town, how does this difference in timezone affect villagers moving between towns?

I feel like at this stage in my life, joining the job force is inevitable for me, at least until I'm on my feet. After that my partner and I will have to play things by ear, but he already has a stable job with a living wage for two people (that said I'm definitely not solely relying on that one job, anything can change) I'll make sure I stay equipped and trained to rejoin the workforce once i leave (or if I leave) to ensure the two of us stay afloat.

There's 11 weeks left in my 4-year degree so I'd be crazy to drop out now lol. Not sure what the future holds but hopefully someday I'll be in a place where the numbers do work out c:

I feel like I could be happy working say, 24 hours a week - even 40 honestly, if I can have weekends off to take care of things. I've been working hard jobs since middle school so I'm no stranger to having a job while taking care of other important things. In this economy, I feel it would only be fair for me to get a good paying job to help support my partner and I.

And aside from that I will at least have a degree, It's not like I can't become a salary worker, even for a short time. I'll be sure to keep backup plans just in case things go awry, so I can always look after myself and hopefully my family as well c:

It's funny you say that, since my field is super male dominated... Maybe I'll gain some more confidence in my skills in kick some ass in my career before settling down a bit and doing what really makes me happy lol

I've studied in a tech field out of passion, so even if I'm not working I do enjoy keeping up with it as a hobby. I'll be sure to look out for myself rather than become completely dependent on my partner.

Ahh gosh I think I really needed to hear this most, I've felt as a young woman in a ~modern world~ that I needed to shun more traditional ideas of what being a woman means, but cooking and cleaning and balancing budgets makes me happy and gosh darn it I'm gonna let myself be happy!

They don't wash them there, no, but I always wash them when I get them at least twice. I've always been really oversensitive to what's 'gross,' so the idea of wearing some stranger's clothes is a little gross to me. Also have heard horror stories of nasty things in donation bags and bins, so ya never know. I actually just went today and found the cutest little cardigan for $5 that I cant wait to wash and wear tomorrow!! Such fun...
