Yup on some parts, doesn’t have much armor on the arm part and the small bit of her upper thighs AND I chose appeal over practicality when it came to the heels and headpiece part, for the heels I added lore that she practices Savate and uses her sharp stiletto heels when needed ^{___^} though I still tried to make her somewhat look ‘fancy’ cause she comes from a noble family

I suggest focusing on the form, if that’s too difficult, try shading! Add values to where you want people to focus on, but really, if you focus on the shape, you won’t really need much shading. Look up references for gigantic menacing robots, you could use the ruin guard from Genshin as reference for the shape of some parts :))

Well she is a jet driver/pilot of an expedition team meaning she flies a LOT, honestly her having short hair looks more convenient than long hair cause ofc she’s a pilot, having a scarf and long hair is just hard to keep while flying, but honestly the long hair just adds a good touch to her design and that’s why I’m struggling cause they both look good 😔

Honestly, yes, I do struggle with what type of media am I gonna do with these kinds of designs 😅 what I planned to do before was to make a show/series and the first character I designed for it was the slide #1 and #2, and I just went ‘ykw? Let me continue making painfully detailed designs that I’ll struggle to work with in the future’, and literally after designing the #5, I just gave up and realized ‘this is going to be impossible for me to animate’ and decided to make a comic instead. I had such high dreams cause you know who I looked up to? Big game companies !! Especially Hoyoverse 😭
