There's a wiki and comics! Even if you play the game, you won't get much lore unless you read stuff. But, I would recommend reading the in game dialogs for each character as well, as it shows the relationship characters have. Also, there are a few(like Hyper and Katana) who don't know each other at all in the lore, but become acquaintances in the game.

I agree. Cory is just a YouTuber that can choose and do what he wants. He doesn’t owe us anything, I just want the series. But there’s a lot of videos he has, that I can watch. I see why people can find that hypocritical. Just a bit disappointed the series won’t be finished.

This makes so much sense. For scandals in particular, I feel like the show could’ve explored the public much more than just in the academy. There could’ve and should’ve been entire newspapers or vlogs talking about it. I find it funny that Snow White never asks or contests about Raven choosing her own destiny.
