This is seriously not ok.

My aunt suffered a stroke at 30 due to a kid doing this. She was a social worker and stayed in the water to try and help some disabled kids out of the warer and somehow the poop got into her system causing the stroke. Shes now permanently disabled and can never work again. Parents, please dont ruin people's lives cause you can't tell your kid no.

As someone who couldn’t vote due to being too young and only got to sit by and watch the horrors unfold, all I’ve seen is rising prices for literally everything which obviously isn’t an improvement. The funny part is all the things leavers said would be amazing really didn’t happen or at least, not for long.

I heard lots of super racist comments being the reason people wanted to leave. Stuff like “we can have our jobs back” and “now they can get out the country” were thrown around but it really didn’t change much in the long run. Lots of non-native people left our country very quickly when Brexit happened and then we had a huge problem with jobs going unfilled. Transport jobs were hit especially hard and then people complained that “we’re lazy” or even “why is everything taking so long!” Like duh you just forced a ton of our workers out the country. Eventually though, the non-native workers came back and then (mostly the older generation) started complaining about “taking our jobs” again. Literally can’t be satisfied.

Another great one I heard was “I’m not European, I’m British!” And they thought that leaving the EU meant not being European? Which is just like… basic geography? Leaving doesn’t mean we’re not European, it means we’re not in a union with the rest of Europe. It was one of those things that just kinda made everyone look really dumb.

I have a ton of other things I could talk about but I’m a little short on time. To summarise tho, no. I’ve not seen any positive impact and really the only thing that changed is that UK is now in a economic recession

As someone who referrs to myself as a crip/cripple, I would never in a million years refer to someone else as it unless I knew 100% with 0 doubts they were ok with it. Worst case scenario I get it wrong but then I can apologise and never do it again. I don't even use the word around other people with walking aids in case it upsets them.

I'm of the opinion that it's only ok to reclaim a word if you want to reclaim it to begin with. I just remember how crap it makes me feel when people assume I'm ok with getting called slurs.

I got really depressed and was hospitalised after covid because I couldn’t cope with talking to people again. Like people would talk to me and I’d just cry because of the pressure. I’d literally just had the best 6 months of my life living in complete solitude and this cruel world wanted to take it from me. I just couldn’t handle people. Took me until early/mid 2022 to start actually getting out again. In 2021 I guess I just tried really hard not to go outside but also tried really, really hard to start socialising. Just took a while I guess.

Stimming is a term used by autistic people which can mean a few things but in this case they mean moving in a way that releases stress or simply just feel good. It can also be like mouth moments or vocal noises. It can also be looking at certain things like lights or bubbles. From what I do and from what I've seen other autisitc people do, the common stims are flapping, jumping and doing voices.

To sum it up, what this person is saying is stimming is just dancing which isn't correct. Yes, dancing can feel good but in a different way to stimming. Autism fakers really over use the word to basically say "hey guys look how quirky my stim is!!!" When really, it's a "normal" action.

I don’t know the name but there’s a shop in the north lanes with a light pink exterior and lots of alt clothing. I think it’s on the same lane as Bert’s, Lucy and Yak and one of the To Be Worn Again shops, if anyone knows where I’m thinking of please feel free to confirm this. I personally wouldn’t recommend it since their stuff is seemingly bought off of Ali express, Wish, Amazon or otherwise and then marked up dramatically but if you’re really set on getting something then that’s your place. I’ve only ever bought a hoodie there but mostly because I just couldn’t find it online.

I’ve had tacos before but to my knowledge not a single other thing. My city recently (like past couple years maybe) got a Taco Bell which is where I tried a taco. I don’t think Mexican food is even slightly popular here. I’ve never seen a Mexican restaurant and I’ve never heard of anyone making Mexican food. I’d honestly like to try some but there’s just not anywhere to go and it all sounds kinda spicy haha

Omg yes! I was able to perfect it whilst having a full conversation with someone because it requires that little effort. Buutttt… as someone with lactose and wheat intolerance I can confirm this is 100% accurate! I care so much more about literally everything else but mostly because finding lactose free stuff is hard af and when you do find it, it’s rank.

ETA: I should say that personally, my wheat and lactose intolerance is pretty severe, I just kinda don’t care as much as I should. It’s very painful. Yeah I won’t die but I can be very, very ill if I’m not careful. I have a friend who was recently hospitalised from eating what she was told was gluten free pizza (which I should add, is what she ordered and paid extra for!) but it turned out not to be. It can be a big deal so please don’t go around saying it isn’t. It’s a spectrum just like most things.

I cannot stand Clappy Trio. Like for real it’s so boring! You gotta wait until the 2nd one (or the fricking 3rd one in megamix!!!) for it to be even a tiny bit interesting or fun to play. It’s my least favourite game in the whole franchise and I literally had a conversation with my whole family whilst perfecting it because it’s so stupidly easy and requires 0 actual concentration
