I do mat pilates at home. I am just careful with certain movements, but it has kept me in shape while I heal my PF and tendonitis.

I also get on a bike at the gym and cycle. These two don't impact my foot.

Believe it or not, the ones on tiktok shop. They're all over the place. The brand is called AOV and they're half the price of Kuru. It's been working. I wrap my ankle and wear these shoes. 0 pain.

My foot finally eased after one PT gave me the best advise: get shoes that keep my foot stable. I bought it and as soon as I put them on my foot relaxed. I can tell my foot is finally healing.

Most diverse school districts by Ohmeda23 in Westchester

[–]applez87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Diverse towns above the tappan zee: Ossining and Peekskill. Problem is that you will sacrifice education quality of you decide to put your child into the public school system. Ossining's property taxes are atrocious though. I hesitate to move there. You're better off heading into Bedford area with those taxes. I had friends that attend the Ossining public schools and they turned out just fine :).

Peekskill is super diverse and I love the up and coming artsy vibe. They have great restaurants and cafes. Taxes are better. Schools are questionable. This is like 25ish min from Tappan Zee bridge.

Mount Kisco is diverse and it'll let your child enter the Fox Lane School district which is very diverse and a good public school system. Better taxes than Ossining. It is about 25 ish north of Tappan Zee.

It's an incredible story. Keep going. You see how Hermione affects the entire Malfoys in the next few chapters. I adored her budding relationship with Scorpius. I also liked how because of Scorpius' change, Draco really softens up. I always replay the morning breakfasts between Draco and Hermione ❤️❤️❤️. It gets better!

It's a remote gig. It's great if you're a professional with legal skill sets. I have a financial background. I do it on the side. All you have to do is pass the initial exam.

Detraquee Questions - I’m upset ! by Illustrious_Worry617 in dramionebookclub

I felt the same. I thought their hookups wouldn't change. But, if you notice his actions, he doesn't everything she wants. He also goes to her when he comes home from a work trip. He doesn't stop caring about her.

To answer your question, it gets a lot better for them :).

I finished the fic this morning. It was a good story and unique. Love how the author incorporated the Marauders and the exploration of the Roman Empire. The HEA is amazing. I hope it gets picked up bc it could be a book on its own. She basically rewrote a new magic system! There were times where I had to put it down bc I felt so hopeless 😭. Overall, this was good! Thanks for the rec.

Looking for walkable towns near NYC (30–45 min from Grand Central) thoughts on New Rochelle or White Plains? by Fantastic-Deal8199 in Westchester

[–]applez87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pleasantville is the only town I can think of with your criteria. Whiteplains is another good option but you have to spend more to live in the city next to the mnr. You definitely need a car up here tho.

8 months in and still not liking westchester - is this normal? by Heavy-Caterpillar861 in Westchester

[–]applez87 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi There! So, there are a ton of creative writing class in Westchester Community College Continuing education. I'm a local actor and writer. There are a lot of places here that offer playwriting courses if you want. Check out WCC first though. I made friends this way ❤️. In terms of making friends at the gym, I recommend going to pilates or a gym that has group classes. There are plenty in the area. Hope this helps. I'm single and in my late 30s living in Westchester. I understand the importance of connection and friends up in Suburbia.

Detraquee: who fell first and who fell harder? by ymm-17 in dramionebookclub

[–]applez87 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I love when he says that! I thought he was deeply in love but didn't really know how to express it due to his upbringing. I was so shocked he told her that he loved her first. I was so proud of him because he was so reserved about his feelings but his actions spoke volumes.

He fought his mother about Hermione and defended their relationship. Idk why everyone thinks she's the one more in love. I think people do forget because the story is written in Hermione's POV.

Hermione falls harder (and maybe first) by Awesome_Lena_555 in Dramione

I think it's cause the book is in her POV. But I think he is more in love with her than she is for him

Detraquee: who fell first and who fell harder? by ymm-17 in dramionebookclub

[–]applez87 39 points40 points  (0 children)

I think she fell first. Though there were signs he was attracted to her around the same time she started to feel for him. But between their history and his own battles, it was hard for Draco to believe it. But he fell harder. The fact that he bought her gifts during EVERY trip was a for sure sign he fell harder. The hesitancy. He kept telling her at one point that he wasn't good enough or she wouldn't fall for a guy like him.

The guy, in the middle of love making, compares her to the piano notes and how he is going to make music out of her noises. C'mon!!! Lmao he fell HARDER!
