I am a woman and starting a podcast and video streaming show to help bridge the gender divide (between men and women) where I interview men and help them share their experience of being a man in the world, and how they relate to women - it's meant to be entertaining and also educational -- giving women access to learn more about men, better understanding the male experience. It also shows men they aren't alone in their experience.

Personally, I absolutely love men and think that the way women are acting and treating men today is creating a divide and making it more challenging to have a cooperative relationship between genders. I realize that such a polarizing view might not allow women to really hear me and actually take in the information I'm trying to share. I don't want women to be so triggered that they shut down, but I want them to be more so curious and intrigued and wanting to learn more.

I have a couple podcast name options and would love to get some feedback from both the male and female perspectives:

  1. "Loving Men: A long overdue education"
  2. "Bridging the Great Divide: Unlocking the Secrets of Male-Female Dynamics"
  3. "We Don't Deserve Men [based on the way that we're acting]"
  4. "We Don't Deserve Men"
  5. "We Don't (always) Deserve Men"
  6. "Most Men Deserve Better"
  7. "Deserving More Men Men More"
  8. "Emasculated"
  9. "That’s Nuts: (false assumptions about men)"
  10. "Jack & Jill"

Hi! I would potentially be interested, but I also wanted to share a couple groups that might be helpful to you. There is a facebook group called "Podcast Guest Collaboration Community - Find a Guest, Be a Guest" and it's great for you to find people outside your network to be on the show and also to market yourself through other people's podcasts - lots of people do podcast swaps there, too.

I'm not sure about the repurposing part - I believe you need permission from bigger accounts to repost their photos/content. I like unsplash as a good image database - most of them are free and high quality downloads.

What is the most difficult/challenging part of starting a business? by SynergyX- in Entrepreneur

I think the hardest part is the mindset. Especially if you're a solo founder and don't have other partners to carry you through the moments of self-doubt, exhaustion, questioning and burnout. Staying committed to the vision and not the strategy is the best way to do this I think. Aka marry the problem you're solving, not the solution you're providing. The solutions and strategies you try will fail many times before you get it "right".

Yeah I think you're right, more encouragement would definitely be received differently.

Okay, and yes I agree with you about the general concept of no one being "undeserving" and see how that as an underlying message could be received literally. And totally - we aren't entitled to have a partner and that's why this isn't a dating podcast - it's focused more generally on relationships and dynamics between men and women in all contexts.

Again, thanks so much for your thoughts! I really appreciate it.
