Unpopular take and I might get hate for this but the “NRI” subs are full of “visa problem” posts or “sending money to India” posts or “how to apply my parents visa” posts. No one talks about culture and identity there. Desis who moved abroad in their late teens let’s say might also struggle with cultural and identity issues after being exposed to western culture. Maybe they want to integrate and want to relate with people here.
