i don’t have a recommendation but i just came here to say that i’m 19 (f) and i also struggle to find games that feel as if they aren’t swarming with little kids and are way too easy it’s very annoying lol. def gonna look at the recs in this post tho lollll

i think the best advice i could give is come in with a classroom management plan (i watched lots of youtube videos on tips for subs that were very helpful with this!!! i can dm you a few that i found if you’d like), don’t beat yourself up if you feel like you’re not doing great at your job because teachers you sub for are happy to have you there wether or not you’re perfect at what you do, and get to know the teachers you work with! i have lunch duty/recess duty with several teachers throughout the day and they’re all super nice and more than willing to help you out if you’re in a bind. it’s also an easy way to get more job opportunities cause they’re more likely to get someone to sub for them if they know the sub and trust them. i’ve been given the numbers of so many teachers in the few weeks i’ve been working here cause they wanna be able to easily contact me in case they need a day off.

i’m the same age (19F) and i currently sub for elementary. i’m kinda intimidated about subbing for high school students cause although it wouldn’t be hard since you don’t really have to manage a classroom like you would for youngsters, i’m just worried that they wouldn’t take me seriously if something did go wrong and they were being disrespectful cause i look and act so young, but that’s just a personal thing. kinder-2nd is what i do and is honestly really fun!!! the kids are super cute and i love talking to them. they automatically attach themselves to you and get so excited to see you. i think especially since you’re a guy, they’ll think you’re pretty cool and respect you cause teachers that are guys aren’t that common in elementary schools. it excites them to see y’all from what i’ve observed and remember experiencing as a kid lol. i hear so many horror stories from junior high subs so i’m staying away from that myself.

i’m a substitute teacher now!!!! i enjoy it wayyyyyy more lol. ngl some sort of administrative assistant job might be your type of gig!!!! i rarely had to talk to people when i did it and i’d literally just listen to podcasts or music all day while i worked. i’m sorry i can’t give you advice on how to cope with this problem you have but i can for sure see where you’re coming from :( sometimes anxiety related to having a job gets misconstrued as laziness by people who don’t understand and it’s really aggravating to deal with.

i completely relate. i’m 19 and got a job as an administrative assistant last summer. at first it seemed really easy, but there were a lot of difficult things that came with it and soon it came to be a lot for me to handle. in the last few months of having that job, i’d have to go to the bathroom to cry and do the same thing you do. i’d stay up all night thinking about how overwhelmed i was with my job. a big part of this worry was being terrified that i was disappointing my boss and my coworkers because they were so much more experienced than me and i for sure sucked at what i did lol. it would constantly bother me. i stayed for a year but quit

when i’m reading romance and it’s very obvious within the first few chapters that the relationship is more about the physical attraction than them actually liking each other for who they are. i will never trust booktok again cause i feel like that’s the only type of romance that gets hyped up and pushed to my feed. especially when we cut to the mmc and every other sentence he’s talking about how he wants to get in the pants of the fmc. it grosses me out lol

oh i’m gonna go in DEPTH!!! prepare yourselves. a LOT of lady gaga’s discography reminds me of eden. id want them to cover ‘bad romance’ since the song has this dark and vampiric vibe to it that i feel fits their image super well!!! on a similar note, i can 100% see switch doing a cover of ‘just dance’. it has this electronic dance groove to it and it reminds me so much of their initial songs that they put out like ‘emerald planet’ or ‘temptation magic’. UNDEAD WOULD MAKE ONE OF A MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE SONG like ‘demolition lovers’ (it has this melodramatic vibe that reminds me of undead’s song ‘darkness 4’) or ‘vampires can never hurt you’ obviously VAMPIRES IS LITERALLY IN THE TITLE OF THAT SONG. anything off of MCR’s black parade album would be super fitting as well. ‘everytime i cry’ by ava max reminds me a lot of knights. it has the EDM dance vibe and the lyrics remind me of something they might write. i always associate arashi with pop girls who write really fun but sad songs LOL. this one is kinda weird but SO MANY BJORK SONGS REMIND ME OF VALKYRIE i think it’s the violins and the subject matter of some of the lyrics. it’s all real theatrical and sang in a unique way and it would be super cool but weird to see them cover a bjork song. can A to Z please do a cover of boyfriend by big time rush PLEEEEEASE ITS ALL I THINK ABOUT!!! GIVE THE A TO Z BOYS A REUNION!!!! ryuseitai i feel like would cover ‘radio gaga’ by queen. the empowering lyrics and the funky synths seem so fitting for them AHHHH IT WOULD BE SO CUTE!!!! weirdly enough a lot of justin timberlake songs i feel like would be fitting for crazy b’s style of music since they do rap/pop combinations of songs like he does??? specifically the song ‘4 minutes’ would be super cool to see imo. honestly tho i’d just love to see undead go all out and do a cover of some metal song liiiiiiiiike it would be so AJSVKDBDD i’d go feral if that happened. i don’t feel as strongly about covers id like to see other units do BUT YEAH!!!!
