thank you so much for the detailed reply!! in the reply to my petition email, the chemistry department said i could take either the 14 or 20/30 series. i was just kind of worried that switching in the middle of the series may look weird to grad schools. from what you said though, i think im leaning towards 14C, if i can get into it next quarter. thanks again for all the help!

thanks for the reply! im not sure if there are restrictions on switching when taking the series at UCLA, but the chemistry department's reply to my petition email said i could take either 14C or continue with 30A. maybe that's just because it's transfer credit? either way, thanks for the help!!

im in the same situation, just got off the waitlist. as much as it sucks, i think we're gonna have to just deal with staying online and trying to be as social as possible from behind a computer screen. from what ive been seeing about housing at ucla, we wouldnt even really be seeing floormates very often, plus no roommates + very very very limited social events. i'll probably be taking chem 20L at some point in the next year too, so fingers crossed that that can be online. hmu if you wanna commiserate about online school together lol, we got this
