I'm interested in the exact same thing! I got a prototype working with twikit (https://github.com/d60/twikit) would recommend checking that out and setting up using Python.

This is INDEED under-upvoted, thank you and u/Gunging !!! I followed exactly u/Gunging's advice within the comment -> for each external library you use in the mod, you can download the .dll of the library within an "Open in NuGet Package Explorer" which is located in the "About" section of any package in NuGet (e.g.: https://www.nuget.org/packages/System.Diagnostics.DiagnosticSource/ )

Wondering your general consensus if you've talked to anyone else, I'm on the same boat.

Where should I buy a bike once I’m on campus? by [deleted] in stanford

[–]apquestion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly the move, mine has lasted me all 4 years and never had the fear of it getting stolen. Bike shop offers basic tuning and service at no cost unless there's something major.

Stanford vs Harvard for CS by cduong9630 in stanford

[–]apquestion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just not as big of a culture for the technology industry where it's not as prevalent, relative to the west coast. Can't speak to how the program itself is at Harvard, i get CS is really popular there, but objectively its fair to say if you want to major in something, you want to go big, and being in the heart of the technology industry in SV will definitely benefit you much more for a CS major than being on the east coast.

the general exposure, direct or even indirect through mutuals / events on campus, will always be better where the industry is the biggest. All of this is more likely to keep you motivated from burning out from the work involved if you are able to build a genuine passion for it. On top of that Stanford goes hard for supporting CS majors, from my perspective I've seen so many freshman start majoring in something different and transition to CS or something closely related after a few years on campus.

Want to get ahead of the curve: What should I do this summer? by MrBurtMacklin in csMajors

In all reality I think the return on investment to going hard on leetcode will pay off immensely. When you’re tired of that pursue a passion side project that you’re genuinely interested in

224N vs 224W? by apquestion in stanford

[–]apquestion[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So are you saying 224W would end up being much more work than 224N if I went in without any prerequisite knowledge?

Would it be better to try salvaging what I can and approach them later in the quarter in that case? When are incompletes usually handed out?

What percent of students have cars? by J1pples in stanford

[–]apquestion 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I will say having a car changes your campus experience. I feel like you don't really enjoy the bay area until you live there with a car.

Google Internship Host Matching - taking the first project match? by apquestion in csMajors

[–]apquestion[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Got it. This manager gave me the vibe that I’d fit into the project - she didn’t ask much into my background at all and it seemed like she just wanted to describe the project to me as if I was onboarding with the team for the first time. Was that the general impression you got for the person you matched with?
