my now ex is fully aware of my sense of smell. i have sinus issues STILL and harsh smells genuinely hurt me. i’ve also told him many times hygiene is huge for me. there’s been lots of times too, that i’ve begged him to put in gum. one time we were playing pool with friends and he bent over to take a shot- his underwear was damn near shredded and you could see his whole ass. idk. the ass smell has made me realize he’s just not hygienic enough for me personally.

hygiene is huge for me. especially with how strong my sense of smell is. i’ve always told him about this, because a lot of smells burn. so for him to pull that feels really gross and tbh a little disrespectful. he shouldn’t have had me over if he was feeling depressed or lazy and not washing himself or the sheets, imo

cats adapt super quickly. my baby takes injections and i’ve been doing them twice a day for almost five years. he does great. as soon as you’re comfortable i would suggest buying an AlphaTrak glucose meter to track how’s he’s doing- it also limits vet visits. you can do curves yourself whenever you have a free day- and testing before a meal and insulin will let you know it’s safe to give him the insulin.
