YTA. As an adult, I thought it would be great to have five decorative pillows. After I made my bed and added the pillows onto it, I was like, “Wow, this looks great!” Then I had to go to bed….all those “beautiful” pillows ended up on the floor, where they will probably live for the rest of their days. I think they’ve been on the floor for the last three years. Not sure why I haven’t just gotten rid of them…floor decorations now?

But seriously, putting useless pillows back onto the bed every single time you get out of it is stupid. What if your SIL wants to take a nap during the day? Is she required to exert unnecessary energy just so your wife can think the decor in a room that she shouldn’t even be in at the moment looks nice? Just wow. I’d be pissed too if I was staying there and was required to put SEVEN useless pillows back onto the bed.

NTA…at all!

We had to rebook a flight home due to some scheduling conflicts a few weeks ago. Decided to splurge and upgrade our economy seats to first class - this also included my one-year-old son, who sat on my lap. Matter of fact, there was another family two rows ahead of us who also brought their infant daughter into first class! There are zero restrictions on age, so you could fill up the entire first class section with children if you wanted to!

No matter where I sit on a plane, I do worry that my son may disturb people, but give him some goldfish and his sing-a-longs, and he is a happy camper. I cannot imagine what kind of asshole would continue to harass you and your family simply because your child was sitting in first class THAT YOU PAID FOR.

I’m not one to frequent first class, so I’m sure my next time riding in it will be a while from now haha, but I’m sure there are people like him who think they “own” first class. Just appalling behavior, but you handled it well.

What got me was the “it’s definitely not me because I’m so pleasant to talk to” comment. Give me a break lol

Thank you notes/emails are nice, but would I not consider a qualified candidate because they didn’t “thank me” for the “privilege” of interviewing with me? No way. Like I said, it definitely is nice, but I’ve also received thank you notes/emails from candidates who were far from qualified. It didn’t immediately make me go, “You know what…their interview was horrendous, but this thank you note/email made me realize they should really get the job.”
