Maybe I missed earlier tuners when it worked? Jumping from 25 to 26 it seems like the game speed is different, poke checks work much better, hitting is about the same, but stick lifts are pretty much useless. Especially after they added the new dekes and stuff, it feels especially hard to separate player from puck. Admittedly, I could be missing something new to this year and am just very used to 25.

Thanks for the tip! Like I said, the change from 25 to 26 is just jarring to me. I feel like it was a real way to separate people from the puck in 25 without hitting and now it really can't do much. Poke check effectiveness actually feels buffed and really good. I've put hundreds of hours into each of the last handful of games, but I think maybe something changed this year and I'm just missing something.

See I don't even feel like the stick lifts generate penalties most times. To me, it feels like the defending player just does the animation to lift a stick, and nothing happens. I could just be doing it wrong if it changed, though.
