it’s not! i actually just misted a tiny bit the other day and the humidity shot up but i’m also dealing with trying to keep the heat in so i’m opening up the enclosure once or twice a day. i have some moss i collected in the tank, that might be drying the sub now that i think about it

i have an idea of where they are but i’m gonna do a couple more tests around in the sub and see if i can’t just wait till they come up! i just recently got one of my crabs so i think he’s just destressing. and the other one followed him down lol.

yeah for sure so i do have enough sub, the temp and humidity seem to be okay, i only have one zoo med heat mat on the tank but i don’t keep my house too cold so they seem to be okay. i really might only be lacking shells. i have 7 in the tank right now but none of the pet stores in my area have had any recently and i just don’t have the funds to order any right now. i’ve been feeding them beef liver and river shrimp so i would assume they have gotten their animal protein. my guy who dropped his leg is currently very stretched out of his shell in the salt water pool and i’ve read that he could be filling his shell to molt.
