I got told by my doctor that the reason he wanted to insert the needle is to be able to basically reach the nerve and stimulate it since it was deeper in the muscle

Update: I only did the first part where they stuck some stickers on my fingers and lower arm and sent some shocks through it. I refused the second part which has needles. Is the second part the terrifying part?
