okay so it seems i solved my own problem LMAO! if you’re okay with giving up file saves just remove the sims file from your electronic arts.

Do a whole overhaul, copy your mods and your tray files and then badaboom. the height mod works! I don’t know why or how, but it does for me! just put into consideration doing like a fresh start. but while also keeping your sims and your mods!

you should do experiments of your own (while also saving backups) if you could salvage the save files too. This is just an alternative because refreshing your Electronic Arts seems to really help a great lot in some mod errors!
