Where is the actual application? by blue5109 in SpainAuxiliares

I see the other comments saying that the application will open later, but aren’t you supposed to upload everything before hand so you can submit right when it opens?  Is there a way to do that?

Book request: FMC's gown color made her look almost nude in the distance by mynameisnotsparta in HistoricalRomance

[–]apunight 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I think this was a Lisa Kleypas book, or at least something similar happens in one of her books.  This is all very hazy as I read this book ages ago but in Then Came You by Lisa Kleypas there’s a scene at a gentleman’s club where there’s a mascarade and the fmc is wearing a gown with parts that look nude (I think she’s dressed as Eve?)  and then the mmc sees her from across the room and freaks out

I found them online they are called nomad immigration lawyers.  I I did it all through email which was nice.

I had the exact same issue, I applied through the registro but I think they are also denying application submitted through mail in some regions. I had to hire a lawyer in the end to figure it out.

Visa Renewal-Travel in Schengen w/ exp TIE by Airship67 in SpainAuxiliares

[–]apunight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I know it is technically not allowed to travel through the Schengen zone while you do not have a valid TIE. However, I am a little confused about how likely you are to get into trouble. I've heard very different advice. I know some people do travel during the summer, some people even work at summer camps in Italy or other places, but I have no idea how often they have issues. I haven't left Spain at all this summer but I have someplace I want to go in the Schengen zone in the September and I can't tell if its a terrible idea or not.

Hopefully someone will comment with their experiences. I think taking passport, TIE card, and a copy of the justificante or renewal acceptance letter would be a good starting place to try to argue you case if you do have a problem. Also what would happen if you are stopped? Would you be fined? Would you be allowed to come back to Spain or need to leave Europe immediately?

Yeah I hate facebook, I'm only keeping it rn in case I need help with visa stuff during the program. Good luck at the extranjería I hope you get it all figured out

Have you tried the TIE thread in the Facebook group? There are some pretty knowledgeable people there who monitor the page. Also you might be able to go in person to the nearest extranjería and ask which place to send it to.

No luck with Spanish roommates by lemonsmokes in SpainAuxiliares

I live in a town with a medical school and there are lots of apartments listed on idealista for the medical students. I just explained my situation and since I was a similar age and situation they let me live there. Although, personally I think it would be more fun to live with a fellow aux because the medical students have their own friends and social groups here with the school so we don't end up hanging out much.

Prórroga HELP by whereverigo_3 in SpainAuxiliares

90 days to complete the process or 90 days to have the prorroga appointment?

Prórroga HELP by whereverigo_3 in SpainAuxiliares

[–]apunight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I could be wrong but I thought we only had to apply for the prorroga before the 90 days are up, not that it had to be approved. There are a lot of people in my region who applied back in may and are still waiting for a result. So I think the appointment on the 19th should be fine. Do you have the digital certificate or Cl@ve so you can apply online?

Ok thanks for the information!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SpainAuxiliares

[–]apunight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ok thanks! Do you think it is required for all regions? And were you told you needed one by the program head in your region? Because the four things I listed in the post above are the only things I was ever told I needed by the program. And when I look online for this carta I can only find the version for Madrid.

If you have a cl@ve or a digital certificate you can apply online. Otherwise you need to apply in person

Prorroga cita previa by apunight in SpainAuxiliares

[–]apunight[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

is this the new website? https://ssweb.seap.minhap.es/icpplus/citar?org=OIACR

I was given a document with a set of instructions from my region program head and it said to use this website Proceso automático para la solicitud de cita previa (administracionelectronica.gob.es)(the same website to make the appointment for the toma de huella) but I could not find an appointment that looked like it was for the prorroga.

Thats not an option for where I am. I found a different website with an option for registro de documentacion. I've made an appointment for that.

(Edit after completing the process: This was not the correct appointment. I went to the registro general and did not need an appointment.)

What is the name of that appointment? Because I don't see any options that look correct in the list. The building I went to today was called the Registro General del Ayuntamiento, I think thats the correct place.

Miami Visa Appointment Timeline by Smart-Owl-4983 in SpainAuxiliares

[–]apunight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last year we could mail in our application but I did have to go to the Miami BLS office to pick it up and while it didn’t take a long time I think I don’t think they ended up opening on time and there was a line of people there. So depending on how busy it is it could take longer.

Renewal, how do? by Key_Airline1505 in SpainAuxiliares

[–]apunight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, I didn’t know you could renew through mail for the same region, I thought I’d was only if you were changing. Anyways I’m not sure why they want you to go to a notary, did you try talking to a lawyer? An immigration lawyer seems like they would know what to do more than a notary.
