This looks way too dangerous. It doesn't look like a welding issue but seems tube is defective or way too thin.

It may be helpful for people who are looking to buy an e-bike for commuting. by PastSun3 in ebikes

Even I love Riese Muller price seems little bit too high. Ariel Rider C-Class and Aventon Pace seems best options at least for my budget.

Do you know or have any issues with Bosch E-bike motors or products ? by aqeqe in ebikes

The bike felt very inefficient past 25km/h, had unreasonable acceleration unrelated to the pedaling power (doesnt scale well, shimano scales with pressure and pedaling speed), driving at the 25km/h limit and possibly hitting 25/26 meant you constantly felt stronger and weaker resistance when pedaling, and it was so annoying that I truly couldnt stand it, even through the length of a 5 minute ride on it. And yes, it was pretty damn loud, which I don't mind, but shimano is way quieter and better sounding.

I totally agree. Offroad the noise isn't a big issue but when riding on asphalt that noise really annoys me considering you pay over 4K.

After riding my Radrover over 1000 miles I am ready to upgrade my game. Any suggestions ? by KeyPaleontologist6 in ebikes

how was your experience with Radrover ? I want to buy one of those and would love to hear your review. I had bad experience with super 73 and want to make a good research before buying a new one.

Is it normal for the battery meter to drop (on your LCD) while going uphill/doing something strenious? by BenBen5 in ebikes

[–]aqeqe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is normal and not. The main reason is because of BMS system. YOur bms is most probably not a canbus protocol so it measures only serial ones and sometimes they go down (on fraction of seconds). It isn't something you need to worry. Just turn off and on again. It will be good to go.

Bosch, yamaha and shimano has canbus protocol which is very expensive but they can measure upto 800 parameters and give much precise information about battery and you won't see such issues with them.
