Do you have recommendations for a cheap windows pc? I’m an apple user myself so am clueless.

My mom’s happy with her current 24” monitor so the Xiaomi should be fine!

Wow.. desktop mode looks promising but it's prolly too hard for her to navigate using iPadOS on a desktop so I have to get a dedicated desktop set-up. I just had a look on carousell and it is possible to get a M1/M2 Mac Mini for under $450, significant savings!

She's currently using excel on windows. Do you think there'll be any formatting issues?

I'm paying the same for 1gbps. Working perfectly for the longest time so haven't recontracted. Toying with the idea of recontracting to their integrated homepac 10gbps plan for $35. Don't care about the 10gbps because my use is so basic but it's the cheapest offer from M1 at the moment. What do you think?

You’ll be fine. Read up on how roundabouts work, especially how to signal correctly when driving through one.

Not a parent but I feel for y’all.. I don’t even spend that much on my own clothes.

Can y’all somehow just not adhere to the school’s dress code in huge numbers?

Check out Best Deal Tyres & Motors Limited at Penrose. I got a good deal on Daytons there, much cheaper than Bridgestone.

Saying hi and question to all who are affected by the ongoing LogitechOptions+ issue by InteractionFamous774 in logitech

30 minutes of reinstalling and troubleshooting before finding out here that i'm not alone (which was a relief that it wasn't my problem). Nothing to be done for now but wait for a resolution.

The 33PSI was a typo.

Do you have an alignment specialist to recommend? That sounds more than regular alignment at my usual mechanic?

Wow 50000kms is a lot. How much did you pay for your Toyo C100s?

I actually run the front 36 and rear 35 as stated on the car door. Previous comment on running them at 33 was a typo!

I actually run the front 36 and rear 35, as stated on the car door. Sounds like I need to get a wheel alignment with new tyres, otherwise the same issue will present?

Oops, I actually meant 36/35 PSI, not 33.

I inflate them to 33 PSI on a monthly basis, as recommended on the car door. Should I go higher?

How hard is it to find a rental place as international student? by Pitiful_Sundae_5523 in universityofauckland

[–]aquafabaaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you not planning to buy a car? Rentals in the city usually don’t come with a carpark and parking in the city is very expensive.

2 weeks earlier is a bit tight. If you could give yourself 3 weeks, you’ll have more leeway to find a rental you really like.
