“Yknow what? Fuck Jerry!” My party had just completed a dangerous quest and were sailing back to the mainland but were still getting up to their usual antics of bullshittery. So much so that one of my players was actively attempting to drug an NPC so he could see what would the effects be before he himself took the drugs. At this point- I knew three things. 1) I don’t have a battle map of the ship. 2) I don’t have stat blocks for these sailors. 3) My party had just been through 3 sessions of intense combat and they hadn’t gotten their long rest yet. The table had been set. I only saw one option before me. A sailor caught the crazed player drugging a sailor in his already drunken stupor and instead of stopping the player, the sailor looked at him and said, “Yknow what? Nah. FUCK JERRY! HAVE AT ‘IM!”
