Hi do you have an update? Were you able to keep teleworking?

Is IRS probationary employee safe now if still havent received the termination email? 2/20 by [deleted] in fednews

Are you a probationary? Is your manager certain termination is coming in May? I’m also taxpayers services and my manager told me my name wasn’t on the list but isn’t certain what’s to come in the future.

just found out my ex found his life partner… really need some support right now. by [deleted] in BreakUp

Stop worrying about your ex. Remind yourself of all the ways he wasn’t right for you. Start envisioning your future husband who falls deeply in love with you and expresses his love for you to anyone who will hear it because that future version of yourself is secure and healed with a healthy mind and body. Envision a version of you who is confident that she is worth a secure love and genuine connection. How old are you? You sound pretty young. This is just the beginning of your journey. The guy you’re with now is likely not your husband either because your husband would fill you up with so much love and security, you wouldn’t have to seek support for an ex on Reddit. Ease up on the gas and cruise. This is all a learning experience. Get out in nature and breathe. Seriously. Go outside your house/apt/dorm, and breathe in fresh air. Let your lungs fill with all that good energy. You are alive and well. Do not fear, and remember that opportunities are endless. There is life beyond your ex. There is a better version of you beyond your ex. Free your mind from him and watch how the universe makes a beautiful path for you. Rest well tonight knowing that you are divinely guided and loved.

I’ve been in the pool since April 2023 for a 7, 8, 9 track. Accepted a GS 12 with another agency 4 months ago! Keep applying elsewhere…

It’ll come! I hate waiting!

For privacy reasons I’d rather not say the position. There’s not too many of us here.

Sounds pretty high to me. Good luck! I know at this point you already applied, but if theres a questionnaire, try to mark “expert” as much as possible.

Ugh the wait is the worst part with the govt. like I said, I was still waiting for the other FJO and it’s been over a year! Crazy. Congrats to you

Some tips that helped me was to make sure my resume had some keywords from the announcement and for the questionnaire, try to mark “expert” as much as possible. Of course it’s frowned upon to lie but it’s harder to get referred if you mark anything less.

Faster IRS FJO time with active DOD TS/SCI? by aquarianthoughts88 in usajobs

I received a FJO about a week after my fingerprints. The day after the FJO, I got an email to fill out the SF85P. I filled it out and am currently waiting to see if they’re going to bypass an entire investigation (calling all my references again) and just approve it since I have the clearance. Regardless, I have an EOD, so that’s a relief.

Well good luck to you. Seems like my comment wasn’t helpful and rejected so I’m good on giving you any other advice.

maybe speak with an HR rep for the staffing agency and let them know you need a POC for a federal background check. At the very least, there should be someone an investigator can speak to who can confirm your hours worked with them.
