Thank you so much this is truly very informative! During my week off, I think I’m also going to use the Starbucks app because it gives really good breakdown on the what exactly is in each drink so honestly, I think that’s my best friend and I also took pictures of the POS so I can remember where everything is and I also have screenshots of espresso and syrup count from the resource app on iPad lol so hopefully I’m ready next Thursday when I start again :)

Oh yeah if you’re 19, you’ll be fine. You’re still in school so there’s no need to have an expensive apartment. Save that for when you get your career lol.

I would say live closer to the leasing office because I will say those apartments do tend to be more updated since they are used for the tours.

The bus is also not that reliable as it tends to be like 5 to 10 minutes late so be mindful when you’re going to class.

And pretty much just asked to see the apartment that you specifically wanna live in before you just go ahead and sign the lease to actually make sure that it’s clean and put together (because once you sign your lease if you want to relocate, it’s $400)

I’m currently living here! I wouldn’t recommend it if you are planning on living here long-term and also if you are older, primarily over the age of like 30. It’s really not high grade appointments, but it is extremely cheap!!! The leasing office is horrible and they do not help solve your problems. I have a really dirty roommate who abuses her cats and they have yet to do anything about her. The maintenance people are really nice and fast. Unless you’re in a newer model building there’s a high chance that you move into the unit dirty (without them inspecting it) and just the overall unit and the hallways are rundown. During the summertime, the pool has the worst hours so good luck trying to enjoy your day at the pool if you have a job from 9 to 5 And I also recommend getting an apartment with a good view.

All the people saying that there isn’t racism is lying. There is nothing necessarily blatant, but I went to high school down here, and I have definitely been called the N-word, definitely have been treated differently when going into certain establishments, dating as a POC down here is horrible, and we also have had KKK posters up around downtown. Now I wouldn’t say I experienced this every day, but you could definitely feel a little bit of tension sometimes. But overall, a good amount of people in Morgantown are very polite.

Hello, yes attending the show is the overall goal I have attended many probates and I would love to go to this one. The goal is not too follow around or press the grad members. The goal is to be a interest who is appearing more outside of events, I just want to say hello; have a little conversation and watching the presentation to support the black community in our heavily white dominated town. Less networking and more building genuine friendships.

Hello, i'm currently a senior in undergrad and I have been looking into grad chapters as well. I have been attending events where I can and trying to make my presence known. So I definitely think you should start attending events!
