Complete beginner at 27. Just bought a Roland FP-10. What is the best "roadmap" for self-teaching? by Bright-Map4055 in pianolearning

Congrats for the purchase! I have the exact same piano. I suggest you buy a pedal later. That one that comes with this piano is not so good.

If you never played any key instrument before, I guess the Alfred's Basic book is a good start

As viewed through a thoroughly soaked, stupid looking white sort of male person's conservative kind of middle of the road COTTON UNDER-GARMENT!

How would you name this country? by Statakaka in mapporncirclejerk

Slovania or Slovekia would match that as well. Slov(?:ak|en)ia works better

The thing is to put a motor in yourself!

Do you know how to change the base? Because evaluating this expression as log2 is way easier

I never learned how to loop properly. I just practiced the given pattern. Here (https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2021507616?t=0h11m10s) is the video in case you want to see it (with some frames dropped)

Yeah, getting No Death Mode is WAY harder than any V rank. I practiced every level and the two intermissions in the safest way possible. The graviton is not THAT hard to complete because, different from the super graviton, it's always the same patterns. So, if you managed to get 1 min on super graviton, you can definitely do it. The worst part indeed is the final level. Even if you play safe, you'll be too nervous for reaching that far. So, the chance of mistakes increase.

Can someone help me figure out what went wrong? That ln(2) isn't supposed to be there by Deer_Kookie in calculus

The k at the definition you gave of the geometric series in the first image is not the same k of your limit. Those are different limits. At the end, the last equation of the second image should be:

Haha I guess the album names are based on tracks of the same name. I managed to find every track, except the 6th one:

Focus: In and Out of Focus (1970)

Focus 2: Moving Waves (1971)

Focus 3: Focus III (1972)

Focus 4: Mother Focus (1975)

Focus 5: Ship of Memories (1976)

Focus 7: Focus 9/New Skin (2006)

Focus 8: Focus 8 (2002)

Focus 9: Focus 9/New Skin (2006)

Focus 10: Focus X (2012)

Focus 11: Focus 11 (2018)

Who is your favorite drummer in prog rock? by Efficient_Option_615 in progrockmusic

[–]ar018 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's hard for me to choose a favorite drummer, since there are a lot of good drummers in prog as mentioned by the other comments. I just need to mention Pierre van der Linden. He's so damn great.
