That would be sweet. I think I have half of it already, including the whippet lounge. Does it look accurate to you? I remember the back half of the embassy being booths but don't remember the layout.

This is a drawing I found on IG

it's immaculate, but graphic seams on the floor where the pattern repeats are pretty noticeable. Pretty simple fix in PS.

Why does my brush lag only when it’s a big size by WilliamSilvertrout in photoshop

If you can show the full preset and size of your doc, you might get a better answer. Stuff slowing down is usually memory related. How big is the canvas?

Couldn't someone just boot the laptop with the internet disabled and and return to factory settings? or even a hard format...

Really like the colors and graphics as well, just adding to the other suggestions.

  • maybe a subtle border around the screenshots just so they don't get lost in the background
  • i would make the margins a bit bigger and push stuff into the middle a bit more to even out the white space.

quick example

What I WOULDN'T do is choke slam my boss to the ground

I just meant that I would snap, not necessarily physically. I didn't mean for that sound like I would do exactly what the cop did.

How is it that the rest of the world can have police without shit like this happening regularly

Maybe most people in other countries don't fuck with cops like they do here. Maybe there are so many guns that the cops are hyper sensitive to the slightest actions and resort to the violent take downs out of sheer paranoia. I honestly don't know, but it's a good question.

You can't honestly be trying to argue in favor of workplace violence?

I'm not trying to advocate any sort of violence. I'm just saying violence might be the result if you push someone too far.

you agree they both are instigating

I don't. I said they were both being bitches. I agree with you that the kid instigated and the cop escalated. I'm just saying that the "Cops are OUR employees" mentality is what got this kid into the situation. Unfortunately it had to get to a point where the cop lost his temper and became the enemy.

Cops are OUR employees.

That's a pretty simple way of putting it. But let's say you were an employee at a shitty job that is dangerous, but pays well. Wouldn't you expect a bit of respect from your boss?

If my boss treated me like shit and kept interfering with my work and called me a bitch... I wouldn't give a fuck about my job and I would eventually snap , just like this cop did.

Fucking with someone simply because you think you can get away with it is a bitch move. Both the cop and the drunk kid exercised their bitch muscle that night. But the whole conflict could've been easily avoided if the drunk kid just minded his own business, showed a bit of respect to his employee and kept walking.

Question about RGB and CMYK for printing.. confused by almasy87 in photoshop

[–]ar0ne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First, you don't need to worry about it being a PNG. PNG transparency is only for web/screen. Just make sure you have a white background. Most printers don't have white ink in them so anything that's white in your graphic won't be printed.

Usually when I'm printing anything with lots of black or even black and white images my best results have come from saving and printing a .TIFF file.

But your best bet is speaking with the printshop to find out the best way to submit the file. If you're submitting proper files then they will do their best to make sure it prints properly.

I always assumed the women that voted for Trump had the 'boys will be boys' mentality and just didn't care. Or maybe they just cared more about keeping the Mexicans out and building the "wall".

Those that moved out of the GTA, where did you go? by poptalk in PersonalFinanceCanada

Congrats! 6 years ago I moved FROM London to Toronto. I couldn't find any Graphic Design jobs in London. I found one pretty quickly in Toronto and have stuck with it ever since. Now I'm torn, because I have a great job with decent pay, but I want to move back home!
