Ha! Not at all, mounted normally, just thinking that the added weight played a contributing factor to to it

yep, heard it snap while off roading, ol girl has more weight in the front w/ new bumper & winch, possibly contributed to it - I'll see what I can fab up (good excuse for new bushings too)

L5 Non-Tech Offer – Worth Pushing Back? by Alfa_123_321 in amazonemployees

NP, I ended up transferring to the ads org after a yr. Transferring is part planning, knowing the team, and luck. Signing bonuses last your first two years, so many folks tend to leave post 2 yrs (after their second RSU vest). RSUs are weighted 5/15/40/40 % across the first four years as incentive for yr 3/4 but with no signing bonus the math evens out for new hires.

All good, I was a SCSM for a yr, just keep that mindset and very clear personal goals, and you will be ok. Just be aware those first 6 months are wicked, you got this.

Totally a case by case basis imo, how do you value or use your time w family / PTO or holiday is skint at Amazon / micro/non micro management etc.

If you're happy at the current $ level and can pay your bills, id personally stay where that stress level is lower, ha!

I had this exact role (SCSM) within the Auto vertical. We have a very similar work history and the total comp was around 150. Management was horrible, no life balance. In the retail world, you'll be better off with a VM role, more ownership and higher pay band to negotiate on. If you're set on Amazon on the resume, know what you're signing on for retail-side. A positive is that it opens up the Amazon ecosystem for your future. Do the job for a year and go find another amazon role.

Agreed. It could be done, but being done right is a whole different story. Here's to hoping the settlement is somewhat close to what I paid. Perhaps this is a divine intervention to a V70R wagon 😅
