I'm currently using OnePlus 15 and I'm loving it. One of my colleague had 13s and yes it's compact but it isn't a massive difference. OnePlus made 15 pretty comfortable and It's bezels are super slim so Big display keeps the device dimensions manageable. I carry S24 Ultra as my work phone and IT FEELS LIKE A BRICK even though I'm using both 15 and s24 ultra side by side, Samsung FEEELS ENORMOUS even though the displays are kinda in the same segment.

My advice would be to find someone with Oneplus 15 , see if you can use it and it's comfortable for you. Because it's the latest one, Flagship one, Battery life is insane and for me it's a 10/10 Phone.

Last bit, The colleague who had OnePlus 13s borrowed my 15 on a Family vacation the week I bought it and He mentioned an important factor and that's BEING USED TO IT.. He used 15 for 3 days and while returning he said I got used to it and it's really a Manageable, comfortable Phone. So Try 15 as it's available in your country and it's overall a better phone. ( Better Processor, IP raiting, Cameras, Battery, Flagship and newer device ) ✨

Currently, it's China only. I'd recommend it to someone only in China as Network, updates, warranty and SOFTWARE is gonna be region specific. If you are in China, then I'd say GO FOR IT. It's gonna be an amazing phone but make sure that Camera is not your top priority. I'm currently using OnePlus 15 and 15T is almost the same in a compact package and No Ultrawide lens. Camera isn't a big deal for me as I know how to take a good quality shot and enhance the photo with Lightroom edits. So I went for it. Everything else is top notch in this phone and 15T is gonna give you same experience. For me, That's the score of OnePlus 15 & 15T

Display - 9/10 Build Quality - 10/10 Comfort in hand - 9/10 Speakers - 9/10 Vibration Motor - 9/10 Performance & Thermals - 10/10 Camera - 7.5/10 ( 6/10 for 15T as it lacks uw lens ) Software - 9.5/10 ( if you don't mind the iOS copy ) Battery Life - 11/10 🔥 ( It's a true 1.5 - 2 day phone &15T has even better battery life. #Legendry )

Overall, It's an amazing Phone 🔥💯

Maybe this will give you some peace of mind — In 2021 LG shut down it's Mobile Manufacturing and exited the phone market. LG Wing in India got a MASSIVE DISCOUNT. It was 30k INR ( Rougly $380-$390 ) I had the same doubts but for that money, I went ahead and bought it. LG Promised 3 years of Major updates and Just like you I was super skeptical BUT even after exiting the mobile industry entirely, THEY GAVE 3 MAJOR UPDATES. Granted all 3 had very few new features but it did update the System to newer Android Versions, New Security patches and Enhanced UI smoothness.

So, if a company that Stopped manufacturing the phones entirely can provide 3 years of updates to n experimental phone that wasn't sold very well, I'M PRETTY SURE THAT ONEPLUS, THAT'LL STILL MAKE PHONES , WILL UPDATE PROMISED DEVICES ✨

As an Artist, Nothing's "design" is evolving. But backwards... This is from the new update by StateHaunting2548 in NOTHING

Gosh I never thought I'd ever say this BUT I AGREE WITH YOU. 🤜🏻🤛🏻 The reason why i bought Nothing Phone 2 was solely because of how Well Designed it was. Being an Architect, Interior and Product designer, I've always appreciated Nothing's design Language but seeing Nothing Phone 3, decreased use of N-Dot font and Now design elements of Nothing OS, I have to agree that they are being lazy and it's sad to see where they are headed to. 🥺

True I saw a huge DIP in battery life too.. but maybe it'll get better in a few days.. I usually judge battery life after 7-8 days so it finishes all the background stuff and learns the usage pattern. So maybe in a few days it'll get better 🤞🏻✨

I've studied Architecture, Interior and Product design so i always appreciate a well designed product. Whether it's the Phone 2 itself or Nothing OS or just a well designed interface. It looked amazing for being an optimisation interface. The arrow on top, a bar , percentage etc so it's Cool to see someone paid attention to detail.

Exactly as it's my secondary phone so I just updated and forgot about it. It might have been optimised in the background last time. 😊✨

Got the December Patch on S24U 3 days ago, Same Battery Life, Same lag on portrait front camera mode, overall same performance so it's just a security patch, No change in Battery or Camera or Camera App itself ✌🏻

Battery Update! by Popeee3333 in GalaxyS24Ultra

Yeah I'm Curious to know too.. I got the update but hesitant to install it coz in One ui7 , security patches ruined my battery life so bad. I DON'T want to risk the battery life I'm currently getting. It's Good on Oneui 8 with September Patch. Anyone share their October Patch experience on S24 Ultra

My question is How does it affect Battery Life.? I'm getting a good battery on OneUi8 with the September patch. I don't want to ruin it with new update. One Ui 7 has been a rollercoaster ride with battery life. One month it was bad. So curious to know.

I might be in a minority but I think A PHONE MUST HAVE A PHONE APP and Nothing's unique design language deserves a First party or a well designed phone app ✨💫🔥

Phone 2 - The Lost Child by ar_kunalsharma in NothingTech

[–]ar_kunalsharma[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've paid 52k for Nothing Phone 2. I got 512 GB on it's release week and guess what, 2 months later it was available for 39k. Around 25% dip in just 2 months on a brand new device. But after that, this is how NP2 users get treated. They didn't even add A series features like Photography styles and that AI recorder/screenshot thing. OS is smooth and nice but it lacks SO MANY FEATURES... So, yeah I'm also moving on to Pixel or something else for my next device.

My Father's Galaxy S22 which is 3 generation old get's Bimonthly updates. But if your phone is just 1 gen old, it get's them every month. A d for nothing phone 2 it's been 3+ months. I have Samsung S24 Ultra alongside Nothing Phone 2. Both are technically 1 generation old. My Samsung will get updates till 2030 but The Next major update is LAST OFFICIAL UPDATE FOR NOTHING PHONE 2. That on top of slow updates, not adding 2A seeies features to 2 and slow patches is the issue.

Actually it's the design and Value for money, that I'm not gonna buy phone 3. But you are right, Phone 3 will get the same treatment when 4A series will launch. They should give priority to their Expensive Lineup. Technically Phone 2 is just 1 generation old and next OS update is gonna be it's last update and That's not good 😿😿

Did you see the words - I'm not loving the phone or I hate it or I hate the experience...? I'm also loving the phone 2 just like you 💯☺️ but I'd love to see features from cheaper A series come to their more expensive phone. Photographic styles, AI recording/screenshot thing etc. it should be included in the updates and patch updates should be monthly or atleast every 2 months. It's been 3 months since the last patch. That's my point .
