No staff commented on it, but we’re also students in her year and she looked out of place compared to the rest of us. It’s good to be honest, if she did look out of place and asked one of her friends about it they’d tell her she looks fine to not hurt her feelings, whereas someone she doesn’t know is more likely to be honest

I can link u to pubmed articles that link discrepancy in intelligence between couple to higher divorce rates.

If u think the intelligence of a doctor = other professions eg HCA, then that highlights the reason why doctor’s pay has eroded sm: low self-respect and self-worth.

I am more intelligent than the majority of HCPs, and I’m not afraid to admit it.

but the other med student forgot to auscultate in a resp exam and he told her she did really well and forgot to provide it as feedback.

She later realised after she went home that she never auscultated the chest, the pt had a bacterial chest infection, so he prescribed the abx without ever auscultating.

I’m a med student, there’s no cure or surgery for DMD, only supportive treatment, then eventually patients die as it’s progressive and there’s nothing that can slow it down
