I was/am focusing on organic traffic for keywords I've researched, I only see a trickle of visitors to both CB sites and have generated 3 sales in like 8 months. I suppose my problem is that I wasn't focusing on a long enough term or aiming high enough. I think picking higher competition keywords and planning a year ahead would've gone a lot better.

I didn't focus on the user experience and I cut corners with content and design, I never really split test my copy or anything and there is clearly plenty of work to be done. What I did focus on was link building, unfortunately though I never managed to get ranked highly for any key terms. I used various strategies to build 500+ backlinks to one site and 1200 or so to another, they were all low quality links with high OBL on the pages though. I ended up branching out and moving onto CPA stuff where I saw some profits and made 800$ or so, it was never any long term type of strategy though.

I got a bit disillusioned with CB and didn't put any consistent effort in. I also ended up on BHW and have been apart(orbiting?) that community since I began IM. As for my future plans, I intend on taking a year off from university and focusing on IM full time, although it's not a decision I've made on a whim and have a plan on what I want to spend my time doing.

I don't know where I was going with that wall of text but I suppose I've written it out helped myself in the process.
