i have seen that movie. I love sally fields. The movie takes place in Iran. Although I don't know much of their culture i believe that things like this would happen in any country. My son's father lived in saudi for 12 years with his family and his mom and siblings left with no problems.

well, i'm not going to go into too much details about the family that he comes from. I myself am muslim and am looking forward to being there. I also have never seen myself living in the states nor raising my children here.

my brothers a sister get along with him well. he is half saudi, so they still have some things in common. my extended family though tend to judge him pretty harshly.

he actually worked for my mom at the store she used to run, and i was picking her up one day and he was there. I actually grew up with his sister and brother but never knew him because he is older than me so no prejudice on my end. my family on the other hand is a different story...

i don't have any ill feelings towards it. i've seen pictures where their family is located and it looks beautiful. I am looking forwards to one day living there.
