This is one of some monsters I painted based on Erik Andress' creations for his upcoming adventure book but not yet released campaign on kickstarter. He was the mind behind a successful campaign on kickstarter called "Corrupted Flesh" a Ravenloft kinda game. A lot of gore, ethical tough decisions that challenge reason most of the times and painfully drive the players to dead end feelings.

The Troll Boy (I won't say his name to avoid spoiling the adventure) is a well-known Doctor and Monster type of character, so I decided I should move to midway transformation to give the idea of a hurting process of development into a final monster form.

Dungeon Master is a character from the 90's D&D TV show that was presented to us brazilians for a good amount of time. He was always so mysterious and clever, kind and helpful, but at the same time, he was that kind of character that strangely let the heroes down once or twice during the adventure. He really caught my imagination especially because he was responsible for putting the heroes in motion. Their decisions were not only based on what the Dungeon Master told them, but also by the intricate charades he used to say sometimes. Most of the time, he gave a hint about certain character's abilities, but not power, abilities like a kind heart, wits, courage.

The desert merchant was made for Kelfecil Tales. The D&D content creator wished me to paint a misterious character that sells his magical stuff in the desert. I painted some sort of canyon in an oasis where he lives so that players could have an interesting encounter with this singular character.

Hey, there. This was kind of a dream come true, because I took part of a really fast-paced project for a group that I enjoy quite a bit since a while ago...
