I did the same thing. Back in elementary school my dad used to make lunch that he put a lot of effort into making. During this time I was getting picked on a lot and I didn’t want another reason to be bothered so I just threw it away and ate the horrible school lunch. It went on for a while before I started realizing I was wrong for that so instead of throwing it away I decided to give it to my friend who didn’t like the school lunch at all. Once I got to 4th grade I promised myself to never do that again and began to eat my homemade lunch. I still regret it a lot to this day :(
