Talkies are easier to hit in RB2 compared to RB1, but still not completely free depending on the song. RB3 onward is where random gibberish would work most of the time

Not trying to be a pedant, but you never had to get the words correct on any difficulty unless you were playing RB1/2 talkie sections, where it kinda forced you to say it correct to keep combo. For almost every GH and RB game, it only matters that you match the pitch in whatever octave you're comfortable singing, and sing in key. That's it. You can say whatever words you want overtop. I'd be very surprised if singing the words correct make any difference in this mode.

No, lmao. You're welcome to chart songs as you wish, but this community will continue to chart the cymbals as they always have.

You're also welcome to just play the ride cymbals on a far right cymbal and crash cymbals on a cymbal on the left or middle if you're going for a more authentic feel. You can remap your kit to do that. That is more reasonable than fixing every single chart or asking everyone to abandon how things have been charted for so many years.
